去年底台灣速食業龍頭麥當勞宣布漲價，當時摩斯漢堡表示，雖然物料和人事成本增加，但考量經濟不景氣，暫時沒有調漲計畫。或許是青創貸款率利多少「時機成熟」，網友在PTT上曝光摩斯漢堡漲價消息，包含主餐和副餐共12品項調漲5元，消息一出哀鴻遍野。

網友爆料，明（20）日起摩斯漢堡調整部分品項售價，包含摩斯漢堡、摩斯吉士漢堡、蜜汁烤雞堡、燒肉珍珠堡、薑燒珍珠堡、海洋珍珠堡6項主餐調漲5元；大薯、小薯、雞塊、新夏威夷鮮蔬沙拉、雞肉總匯沙拉、雞腿塊薯條組6項副食貴上5元。

網友指出，摩斯漢堡除了漲一波，也推出一項免費福利，未來點茶類熱飲，容量將會升級成大杯；他提醒熱愛摩斯的饕客，趁漲價前快去用餐。

摩斯漢堡表示，明天會公布新版菜單，部分品項會有調整。此外，摩斯官網公告，「因應年度系統維護』，網路點餐暫停1月20日之後的預約取餐功能，似乎也成察覺漲價的端倪。

消息傳上網，多數人表示難以接受，畢竟價格就已經比麥當勞、肯德基來得貴，「再見了，薑燒珍珠堡」、「又要漲啊」、「本來就不便宜了還要漲」、「大家不要去吃就會降價促銷了啦」、「去年吃還不錯，不過實在太貴」、「貴份量又小 現在又要漲價了。」
